Teachers' Initiatives, Inc. is a team of professional teachers and college instructors/professors devoted to uplift the social, moral, and intellectual well-being of those who are in the academe. The team also promotes the professional development of teachers focused in continuing education, innovations and outreach.

Objectives

  • To provide a venue for teachers to do outreach and social works.
  • To provide professional development opportunities for teachers in the form of training, seminars and workshops.
  • To raise awareness among teachers regarding their impact in the community and the society at large.
  • To give a venue where teachers can work collaboratively towards common goals.  
  • To implement activities where teachers can enjoy when and what they learn.

In our previous post, we asked you to help us in contributing the cause of DEPED CDO to give school supplies to the Hinterland Barangays in Cagayan de Oro. We wish to thank everybody who helped us. These set of school supplies were already turned over to DEPED CDO for distribution!

CDO Poetry Night

 We would like to thank Nagkahiusang Mambabalak ng Cagayan de Oro, organizer of CDO Poetry Night, for supporting our outreach program for Taglimao Elementary School. Biggest thanks to all those who came to watch the show too.

School Supplies Donation in Taglimao Elementary School

 Taglimao Elementary School is one of the far-flung schools in one of the hinterland Barangays in Cagayan de Oro and it is one of the beneficiaries in our School Supplies Drive. We have chosen the school as one of our beneficiaries because the students needed school supplies. As reported by Teacher Quette, some of her students don't have materials because their families couldn't afford to buy or don't have the capacity or resources to go downtown to buy the needed school supplies. Teacher Quette even shells out money from her own pocket to provide supplies for her students.  ( Students of Taglimao ES walk to reach their school) So, we gladly shared our blessings by helping Teacher Quette with the school supplies to be used by her pupils this school year through a School Supplies Drive. We weren't able to go to the school to personally give the supplies due to conflict of schedule but Teacher Quette gladly received the donations.  Seei...
