School Supplies Donation in Taglimao Elementary School

Taglimao Elementary School is one of the far-flung schools in one of the hinterland Barangays in Cagayan de Oro and it is one of the beneficiaries in our School Supplies Drive.
We have chosen the school as one of our beneficiaries because the students needed school supplies. As reported by Teacher Quette, some of her students don't have materials because their families couldn't afford to buy or don't have the capacity or resources to go downtown to buy the needed school supplies. Teacher Quette even shells out money from her own pocket to provide supplies for her students.

So, we gladly shared our blessings by helping Teacher Quette with the school supplies to be used by her pupils this school year through a School Supplies Drive.

We weren't able to go to the school to personally give the supplies due to conflict of schedule but Teacher Quette gladly received the donations.

Seeing the happy faces of the children melt our hearts! :)

Thank you so much to all our partners and friends who helped us in this endeavor: Ms. Euriza Cobarrubias, Millet Castrodes, Adeva Jane Esparrago and the CDO Poetry Night (NAGMAC).

Looking forward to more meaningful partnerships soon! :)

Outreach Activity with the Lady Lawyers of CDOC

Blogpost by Roxanne H. Fuentes Last Friday, March 17, 2017, one of my aims for this school year came true. After the devastating flood happened last January 16 which destroyed most of our learning and instructional materials in school. Our school gets flooded most of the time when heavy rain comes. Not only that, our pupils who live near the river banks became victims of the flood as well. Some of their houses were partially or completely washed out. Some of the school materials such as their notebooks and papers could no longer be used. Because of that, I've been wanting to give something to these pupils who were affected by the recent flood. That is why when a group of Lady Lawyers contacted me for an outreach activity, I did not think twice of assisting and helping them organize an outreach activity for our school. The support of our administrators was also overwhelming. The Federacion Internacional de Abogadas Cagayan de Oro Chapter gave out school supplies kits for ...
