School Supplies Donation in Taglimao Elementary School

Taglimao Elementary School is one of the far-flung schools in one of the hinterland Barangays in Cagayan de Oro and it is one of the beneficiaries in our School Supplies Drive. We have chosen the school as one of our beneficiaries because the students needed school supplies. As reported by Teacher Quette, some of her students don't have materials because their families couldn't afford to buy or don't have the capacity or resources to go downtown to buy the needed school supplies. Teacher Quette even shells out money from her own pocket to provide supplies for her students.  ( Students of Taglimao ES walk to reach their school) So, we gladly shared our blessings by helping Teacher Quette with the school supplies to be used by her pupils this school year through a School Supplies Drive. We weren't able to go to the school to personally give the supplies due to conflict of schedule but Teacher Quette gladly received the donations.  Seei

Partnering with JCI-KG, along with its other partners (Ayala Foundation Inc., Liceo Dragonoids and Marymount Academy teachers), we were able to help prepare Gusa Elementary School for the incoming school year 2016-2017. In the photo: Members of JCI-KG to which two (Owen, Roxanne) are front  liners of Teachers' Initiatives as well. Last June 3, 2016, a Turn-Over Ceremony was conducted to which we were able to donate a computer set, toothpastes, school supplies and faucets. The program was attended by the partners, school administrators and teachers. We look forward to a great year ahead!
